Package: apt Version: 0.5.4 Severity: normal I'am upgrading from potato to woody. Because apt from woody tell me: Internal Error, Could not perform immediate configuration
I upgrade manually libc, dpkg and apt (and dependencies) to woody versions. Now when I run apt-get dist-upgrade apt tell me: Internal Error: Couldn't configure a pre-depend but what I can make to apt-get continue? Which package is problem? After manual upgrade debconf to woody version, apt-get continue. (I list Packages file from woody/main and search for Pre-Depend). May be subject's error more descriptive? Which package(s) cannot configure? Thanks Vladimir Michl
