[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~>apt-extracttemplates
debian/unstable/debconf_1.2.35_all.deb
Check ,1.2.35
debconf 1.2.35 /tmp/template.280020 /tmp/config.280021

I have TMP, TMPDIR, and TEMP all pointing to ~/tmp/. It's rather bad
that apt-extracttemplates does not honour them.

<wiggy> TMPDIR perhaps?
<wiggy> #define TMPDIR "/tmp"
<wiggy> heh, it doesn't even bother to check environment

For some inspiration, consider bug #174307 and what fun it would be if
that were used to replace a config script with code written by an
attacker. See also bug #116448.

I think wiggy has a patch for this.
