Bug#192788: E: Unparsible control file

Hi folks,

If I run 

        apt-ftparchive generate apt-ftparchive.conf

Then I get a lot of error messages like 

E: Unparsible control file
E: Errors apply to file 
'/dir/debian/dists/local/main/binary-i386/kernel-image-2.4.20_2_i386.deb'

Maybe I am blind, but I did not find this error message explained 
anywhere. Nor do I know what is meant by a 'control file'. My 
config file is

        DIR {
        ArchiveDir "/dir/debian";
        }
        TREEDEFAULT {
        BinCacheDB "/dir/debian/cache.db";
        }
        TREE "dists/local" {
        Sections "main";
        Architectures "i386";
        }



Would you mind to fix the documentation?
