Package: apt Version: 0.5.4 Severity: wishlist Hello,
apt-get will download from several sources at once (if configured that way and packages from several sources are needed). The problem here is mainly an estetic one: 1 somepackage [size] 2 someotherpkg [size] 3 athirdpackage [size] 4 andaforthpackage [size] 55% [1 somepackage 1024k/10M 10%] [2 someotherpackage 7533/25M ...] [3 at so once apt runs out of space on the first line, the rest is truncated, and not shown. This could be resolved eg. like this: 55% time elapsed: 2h 45min remaining 1h 33min 55M/110M [1 somepackage 1024k/10M 10% 1min 33 rem 2500b/s] [2 someotherpackage 7533/25m ..% 35min rem 3799kb/s] .. hopefully itr will get fixed someday Robert -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux pinguin 2.4.18-bf2.4 #1 Son Apr 14 09:53:28 CEST 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages apt depends on: ii libc6 2.2.5-11.5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 1:2.95.4-11woody1 The GNU stdc++ library
