Package: apt
Version: 0.5.4
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/man/man8/apt-cache.8.gz
the apt-cache manpage doesn't answer "what if the user wants to know
about source code", or what command to try.
e.g. we see there word "source":
gencaches
gencaches performs the same opration as apt-get check. It builds
the source and package caches from the sources in
^^^^^^source .debs?
^^^^^^ftp/html
sources.list(5) and from /var/lib/dpkg/status.
but nothing more is mentioned about src .debs if indeed that's what
they're talking about.
