Subject: apt: wishlist: package replacement info
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
X-Mailer: bug 3.3.9

Package: apt
Version: 0.5.3
Severity: wishlist

this is definitely wishlist, so ignore it if you like... but... :)

it would be ultra-cool if apt-get, while downloading, could print out the
package you have installed that is being upgraded - version strings, etc. i
like the fact that dpkg prints it when you're installing, and getting that same
info from apt-get as i do a dist-upgrade or an upgrade could be pretty handy.

thanks so much, maintainer!
