severity 137560 wishlist thanks apt-get build-dep does just fine if the default choice works, or the OR is already satisfied by an installed package. The case where the defaults are incompatible is arguably a bug in the package specifying the build-depends, and is enough of a corner case that I don't consider this to be much of a bug.
