Dear apt developers, I'm packaging apt(-rpm) on suse and I have a problem with the sgml documentation of apt version 0.5.15. With the previous versions of apt-rpm that were based on apt 0.5.5 I updated the sgml docs to get them build on my system. I have to do that again with the latest version as my patch file results in many rejected chunks as the documentation got updated.
While updating the documentation I come across some strange looking sgml and I'm wundering and want to learn why that is, e.g. <command/apt-cdrom/ were I expect: <command>apt-cdrom</command>. Is there e.g. a script used to make it clean sgml during the build of a deb package? In the attachment I provide a diff of what I think should change in the file apt-cdrom.8.sgml to change it into proper sgml. The diff is neither complete, perfect and finished. Would patches to the documentation accepted and incorperated into apt if I would provide them? -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
