Package: apt Version: 0.5.25 Severity: wishlist
an idea for improving apt-get for add support to package recompilation whenever a package is requested for installation, apt-get checks a directory for patches against the source, if a patch is found binary package is not downloaded but "apt-get builddep && apt-get source" is executed, sources are patched and build, obtained binary is moved to /var/cache/apt/archives and installed please let me know if this is a bad or good idea bye -- Package-specific info: useless ...
