As far as I remember, the ARM simulator was finally removed from binutils (and GCC) this February. The “proper” way to run the GCC test suite for bare-metal ARM (arm-eabi-) targets now seems to be using QEMU. Unfortunately, DejaGnu doesn’t include a default/example board configuration for QEMU, so I’d like to propose adding one.

The attached file is the configuration I currently use. It works, but any “pro tips” or suggestions for improvement are very welcome.
