Just in case there are other users who may run into the same kinds
of problems I did in getting information on setting up and using Firebird,
especially as an embedded server, here's a web site that has a really good
set of docs and tutorials. I didn't even know that the Firebird client
install adds components that can be placed in the toolbox and used because
it doesn't tell you anything about them in the docs! But I found the info
here, along with reg files to added DDEX designer support as well.
