Make sure that the directory of Delphi's VCL source code is not on your project's search path. Also make sure that you don't have any units in your prject with names that conflict with units in the VCL. The VCL source directories should only appear on your browsing path and your debugging source path. There are per-project settings and IDE-wide settings.
