Hi,
I'm using Delphi 7 with Rave 5.0, and use RvDataSetConnection dataset with a
TQuery component. My application allow the users to filter, therefore the
TQuery component SQL query will change dynamically base on the user's filtering
criteria.
For my rave report, i use the usual method of adding a Direct Data View
(rvDataset) ...
My problem now is when users click report preview button, it display all data
with "(invalid)" text instead of the correct data. Is that because I have
created the queries dynamically, thus RvDataSetConnection dataset can't figure
out which field is corresponding to which field (for your information, i didn't
change the field name in my queries) , or is there any step i've missing ?? How
do i fetch those filtering data to the rave report ? Hope someone can help as
i'm really in crying need now. Thanks in advance.
