This looks like a personal project... Did you read what the author said?

So, it's an unstable product... If a new version of mysql came around,
probably there will be no updates on the units, to not talk about bug
fixes... I also doubt you'll find nice examples out of the author page
easily :)
So, why dont you try something with better comunity support, like
ZeosLib or even the dbExpress, it offers you cross-access between some
databases :)
