I have implemented something similar in my application but instead of
help bubble messages are displayed programmatically on controls pointing to
the control in question, well to do this of course I have to ways, either
send the mouse position to the function that displays the bubble or the name
of the control, what I understand you want something more flexible, still
you need in your parameters the Tcontrol in question and then everything is
a piece of cake I guess...
I need this too, I'm designing a touch-screen keyboard and I need to
know the control that has focus so that I can write on it everytime this
keyboard is launched... I digged into the unit Controls but could find
nothing, there's a function to find the next control in the tab list but not
the current one... any ideas any one?

How can I tell my current form position according to my active object?
What I am trying to do is to display a 'help' bubble above each object
as I tab along the form when the app is in 'help' mode. If I know the
name of the active object,
I can surely get its for position, hint text etc.?
