I managed to connect to the mail server and send an email using Indy components IdMessage and IdSMTP. I want to take it further and send formatted messages. Basically I have a simple text editor with bolds, italics, bullets and so on. I want the text to be sent in a formatted way. I tried storing the text into RTF and loading it into the IdMessage Body but ended with junk text on the other end of the email. When I tried using the Fastnet components, I got an error to do with authentication on the server, so my emails could not even be sent. Any assistance will be highly appreciated. I would prefer working with the components already in Delphi if it's possible.
