or just for the sake of argument, it would probably
be easy to de-select all other checkboxes but the
selected one in a little for loop on the Click event. 


   This might be useful  in the case that the user
interface requires this control to be temporarily in
this mode. It would save the programmer from switching
to a radio group to provide this feature.
