I gotta do a model/simulation of delivery department of postal service company. I found this http://www.tomasweb.com This is a set of libs, examples, sources to make this, but i still cannot understand it... Its author told me to see JOBSHOP example ... ht_tp://w_ww.tomasweb.com/processes.html and then start with mine... jobshop and others sources ht_tp://w_ww.tomasweb.com/examples.html my problem is: (get this excel file with data) http://www.alipogroup.com/data_model.zip i must handle the simple service only i have these variables: - # of postmen - # of simple letters rcvd - # of letters a postman can deliver per day - # of letters not sent the model/simulation should be run to simulate one (or more) days of work (simulating day by day) and seeing the values of letters not sent (which are left for next day's balance) and then should report if standards were accomplished... for example, a simple letter should not take more than D+7 days to deliver, where D is the day it arrived... and so...
