You need to double click again and check the list of Fields; I think the MyField3 is still there in the list of fileds of TTable component If you remove that (right click ->delete) and try again will work fine. It works fine. After that, i found that MyField3 in MyTable1 is not neccessary, therefore i change my Database structure to delete that field and save it. Then i repeat the same step as following: Drop a BDE Component(TTable) on my form again and set its property as following: DatabaseName: MyAlias1 TableName : MyTable1 Active : True The time when i set the Active property to true, a message "General SQL Error, Column unknown MyField3.
