I found the answer.... I Install Delphi 6 and Delphi 2005 on the same machine. The path for "delphi 2005\bin" comes prior to delphi 6 bin folder. So everytime the app search for dbexpint.dll, it will find the one from delphi 2005, and looks like the dll is not compatible with the component in delphi 6.
