In php or C there are often builtin variables (or whatever they are) that a program can use to give more detailed information when an exception occurs..
Eg List Index out of bounds (-1) in Package MYFOO.BPL Unit FOOBAR.PAS at line 236. Using Delphi 5, packaged applicatoin ...seems to me I once found/saw them in a book. Long ago and far away.... Yes, I guess I might have to rleease compiled with debug info or something like that.
