Well, I'd hesitantly suggest that this is some kind of bug in the compiler
(although, maybe its just that TDD32 does not support wide/unicode
characters, so perhaps it's not a bug per se, but if so then Borland must
confirm this [and for that matter, fix the error message.]) I've confirmed
this also happens on my Delphi 7 installation. I would make a posting about
this on the Borland newsgroups, and post a self-contained project that
exhibits the error to the attachments group, so others can verify the
problem and try it on other versions of Delphi (e.g. 2005 as well for
example), and verify it as a bug. If some of the other people confirm this
as a likely bug, then I'd report it as a bug on qc.borland.com. If you do
that, let me know and I'll also go and confirm it on your report.
