I can't exactly answer your question, but I have code that creates and writes to a custom event log (that is, not Application, System, or Security.) I based it on code I found here: http://www.thedelphimagazine.com/samples/1655/1655.htm and also used this: http://oldlook.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Programming_Languages/De lphi/Q_20733243.html
