Hi Kinan
What do you mean when you say they connect to each other using OLE?
If you mean that the client application connects to the Server and the server
then does a reverse connection to the client, effectively making both
applications servers and clients at the same time, then this is very bad
structure of your data flow. A better idea would be to have the client
connecting to the server and then using OLE Callbacks to send messages back to
the client.
The reason you get the message is because the server has run an AddRef command,
registering the client app as an OLE server. Thus, the server still holds this
reference when you try to close the client. What you could do is to send a
message to the server to tell it to release the instance of your client, which
will probably close the client app, if your client has only one registered
instance in OLE. This would definitly be only a tempary fix though.
