My simple suggestion is to wait about half a year and upgrade to the NEXT Delphi version. (The one after 2005.) It is about to become available soon.
Keep in mind that the upgrade will cause problems with your components. If you have the source, you can recompile them for D2005. Otherwise, contact the person who created them for an update/upgrade. Some changes to the source of those components will be required and some might have even become obsolete. You will lose valuable time when upgrading to the Newer Delphi version.
