Hi I have a small program that I wrote to run as a service on a windows 98 se network. I now need to make it run on windows 2000/2003 network, and to be able to install it by assigning a package with a group policy.
I know Delphi 6 has the option of creating an NT Service and an NT Service Application. Can anyone either explain the differnces to me in practical terms, delphi help assums I know what I'm trying to do and why etc ;) what the differences between these to are and when each should be used, or point me to a good book/ online tutorial?
