Hello,

We use Subversion together with the TortoiseSVN Explorer plug-in
interface. I have very little negative to say about it and recommend it
highly. (We've been running it for more than 2 years now iirc, prior to
that we used CVS, and prior to that the really awful Borland
TeamSource.) Subversion supports both "Copy-Modify-Merge" as well as
(more recently) the "Lock-Modify-Unlock" models of source management.
TortoiseSVN on the other hand makes subversion's abilities instantly
available wherever you have an explorer dialog or window.

There are other options of course, FreeVCS (nee JediVCS) comes to mind
and integrates with Delphi into the IDE (iirc) Borland Starteam is
supposed to be quite good, but I have never tried it.
