What about storing the user Name/Password in a database along with their permissions and create a simple login form which would query the database.

But I know if I use asp.net I need iis and most code samples and tutorials deal with mssql/iis and I cant find much code on mysql. I want to create a simple portal website with asp.net with iis/mysql. The only delphi portal code I could find is at http://aspxdelphi.net/DesktopDefault.aspx <http://aspxdelphi.net/DesktopDefault.aspx> which is great, but it uses mssql.
