Well, Europe is on the right track, now. Consider how patent laws hold back
oftware initiatives in the US, consider that Europe is free fro those
constraints, consider the decisions of the UE (about Microsoft not publicing
the Windows' sourcecode, about using OpenOffice as the main document
writers), consider the split in Linux distros (non-us versions having a *lot*
more software included).
