You can also use InstallShield to create a BDE install, that only installs 
the BDE.   Either on Borland's website or in Delphi, maybe somewhere else (I 
don't exactly remember where I saw it), there is a option for a 'Minimum' 
install that allows you to set up an installation for the BDE only.
