First of all check the flag "Build wit run-time packages" in your project options. When set, this flag prevents compilations of any packaged code (VCL, 3-d party) into your application, provided you list all needed packages in projects options. In case you do not use 3-d party componenets in your application, that means, that someone unintentionally added references to 3-party units into uses section of some of application modukles. You have to find and remove those references.
