Hi everyone! I installed QuickReport 3.6.2 on the weekend (using D6 Ent), + after fixing all the intial setup probs concerning the TeeChart units etc, I came across a prob that I have found no fix for yet after trawling the Net for hours... :-( The prob is with the PDF export filter. After installing it, the 1st prob was that the component didn't appear on the component palette (the new HTML filter component also didn't appear.). So I tried "using" QRPDFFilt in my unit + "ExportToFilter(TQRPDFDocumentFilter.Create(Filename))" - the result of this was that when I tried to compile I got an error msg in the QRPDFFilt unit with the procedure "AcceptGraphic (...); override" (I forget the exact msg...), so I tried removing "override" + also changing override to "virtual" which let it compile, but then I get a runtime err "Access violation" with a CPU dump when calling ExportToFilter. Has any1 else come across these probs? Does any1 have any ideas on how to get around this?? I am using version 3.5 (Delphi 5Ent) and the filters with that are the text, HTML, and CSV files. The PDF filter uses some Dll to convert text to a PDF format. I would bet that this file is missing. I would try uninstalling, and reinstalling the components.
