Greetings,
I would be grateful for comment/advice on the following.
I have been 'playing' with Borland software since the days of Turbo
Pascal and although only a hobby programmer, I'm reasonably familiar
with problem solving & writing code.
The current project in intended to be a communications log keeper
for use in Search and Rescue operations. It's being developed in D3 with
Topaz components and running on a Linux Kubuntu OS.
What I would like to do is to completely clear all the saved data at
the end of an operation, leaving the logging program ready for the next
exercise. (Of course hard copies will have been taken before the
clear-out). Doing this needs to be very simple as far as the user is
concerned - possibly a button to push with a protective keyword to
prevent accidental deletion.
A couple of attempts to code this have resulted a program crash. It
should be easy, but I'm having a mental block Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Gordon
