I did not mean Kylix 3. As I said in the original note, I'm a
hobby programmer, started in Fortran and Forth before settling on
Pascal.
I don't work with massive programs processing millions of records. My
interests have been more in control and monitoring in cine film
processing, analysis of machinery performance - with a couple of one
off's - developing a diet/health data logging program for a municipal
zoo, for example.
Now well retired and with 78 years on this earth, D3 does all that I
require - and I could not afford later Delphi versions anyway.
