Ok, so the old bde 5 has problems with vista, There are fixes out there.
You have to edit the permissions in the registry, Create a folder off the root for the share of the .net config file, And then edit the bde config manually. I've documented this for user and even written a script for the changing of the registry permissions so they don't have to dig in regedit, But, they still can't do it. well, some of them. My question is, can I do this in a little app? I can set the folder, and the reg, but how would I change the bde config for the net share? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
