which checkbox are you referring to?  If it is in a dialog you created, then 
you can do it two ways:

1.  You can add a global variable which can be seen by both your dialog and 
your QR program and using the beforeprint event of the QRDetail band, you can 
check the variable.  If it is true then set the enabled property to false, 
otherwise set the enabled property to true.

So your code would look something like this:

If showDetail = True then Detailband1.enabled := True
                           else Detailband1.enabled := False;


Or

2.  You can call two different reports depending on whether the checkbox is 
checked or not in your dialog.

Note:  The Detailband, IIRC is not needed when you are doing summaries.  You 
can use the footer band to accumulate your totals and then print things.  But I 
could be wrong  on this.  If this is the case, to implement solution one, you 
will need to set the band's size.height to zero.  This will hide the detail 
band from the printer.

example I have QRSubDetail1 in QuickRep1 and i want to hide it if my checkbox 
is unchecked,, I tried to read the documentation of QR manual but i didnt find 
it please hint me,
