I'm sure Windows 7 allows multi-touch, similar to iPhone, so a bit different to mouse.
There was a TV report when Win7 was released and some people were using two hands to resize, zoom etc. Regards from New Zealand (GMT+12) Jason Coley Software Solutions -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Peter Luijer Sent: Wednesday, 4 November 2009 2:41 p.m. To: Jason Subject: RE: [delphi-en] Touch Screen components/capability for Delphi Upto now, touch-screens just mimic a mouse and it would not surprise me if with Windows 7 this would be the same. Since I don't own use Windows 7 (and a touchscreen), I'm not certain of course, but chances are high. Effectively this means you can just develop applications for touch-screened devices as normal and use your normal mouse when testing and development. Don't forget, however, that normally with touchscreens users don't have a normal keyboard, so you have to keep that in mind (TEdits and such). I am wondering how to develop UI with touch screen capability from my old Windows XP Laptop.
