Did you get an error message? I am guessing that it failed to install
because of an old style method of determining free space on a hard
drive. Back in the 90s, Hard drives were 2 gigs in size so the
installer subtracted the space used from 2 Gig. Doing that nowadays
give you a negative number!

If you have Delphi 5 installed somewhere else, you can copy the files to
your new laptop and then Export and import the Registry settings and you
will be all set. If not, then you will need to temporarily fill your
hard drive until there is less than two gigs free and then try to
install the program.

Hope this helps! There are probably a few other tricks that you will
need to know once you get the installer to complete.
