There's a great freeware component that I use for searching and it's
even faster than Windows!  It's called, "hahFindfiles", and though written
for Delphi 6 or 7 it compiles and works fine with D9 too.  I believe I
picked it up on About.com but if you have trouble locating it I can send you
a copy.

I want my program to search all hard drives for the 
location of a particular file. I should be able to 
make use of the Windows search procedure but I don't
