Hallo Jim,
if you are using the server components or native com statements. In both
cases you are using COM.
I think it would be easier with the server components. But if you have to
support Excel 2000 and XP
use the Excel2000 Typlibrary. Because it's the lowest common denominator.

Hi all,

So I'm automating some printing on excel. I started out using the XP (2002)
server components, fine. But now it appears I have to make a distinction
between Excel 2000 and 2002. Any thoughts here? Would it be easier to do
with with direct com calls rather than the components? Is this relatively
easy to do anyway?

Thanks,
