It might be that two version of the same file is on the path and Delphi is
selecting the wrong one... 
It might also be that you have only a dcu-file and not the pas-file which is
compiled with Delphi 6 or sp 1 and doesn't support update 2.

Hello,

After having to re-install D6 enterprise from the CD, I applied the general
updates 1 & 2, and the RTL updates 1 & 2. Now I have a version mismatch when
compiling a project (message: [Fatal Error] uEnumFilt.pas(22): Unit Variants
was compiled with a different version of SysConst.SInvalidVarNullOp). Is
there an update I have missed?
