Hi all,
Just this morning I was reading my first cup of coffee as usual when
I came across an article in CRN mag...one of those give-a-ways they're
always asking me to sign up for...about JBuilder for the Enterprise and the
on-line collaboration system built-into it. I was really amazed by the
great description they gave and how impressed they seemed to be themselves!
What a great idea though! Image being able to fire up Delphi and it
automatically looks out over the internet for other Delphi users and sets up
a collaboration connection if wanted...or you can simply just chat about a
problem. Editing is handled by owning tokens which sets the editing to only
the logged on user that names himself as the server, but I believe this is
on a unit by unit basis and that it can be changed at anytime during the
session! All editors hooked up to the same session stay in synch in
real-time, so this would really be great for on-line training sessions and
clinics.
Does anyone know if this technology is going to make it into Delphi
anytime soon?
