Bob, Just so you know I ended up using this
TempStr := XMLTransform.TransformXML(RemainderStr, TranformationFile); cdsMain.XMLData := TempStr; Why that works and the following gives an error with the same data and the same transformation file I don't know. cdsMain.Data := XMLTransform.Data; But I guess the workaround is to use the XMLData instead....
