As many of you know Mac McGruder took over for Ken and Justin in hosting and covering the costs for eLists a few months ago. Sadly we received the following from Mac just the other day - there isn't a lot of time for someone else to take over so this in fact may be an end to these lists that have run in one form or another for many years - and I've been moderating them for over 10 years. === This past month has been a very difficult time for me. My mom has been diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to host elists. I am taking over my mothers bills (mortgage, car, etc) while she is on chemo therapy and will be unable to work. Therefore I must cut expenses where I can. If anyone is interested in taking over the list, I will provide whatever assistance to help with the transition. If no host can be found, then I would suggest moderators transitioning the list to a free host like yahoo groups. Not the ideal solution, but it is a free one. I will backup the archives and anyone interested in having them I will make arrangements to get you a copy. If anyone has any questions let me know. I plan on pulling the plug December 14 (before the next billing cycle on the server). I apologize for the late notice, however I have been living in a hospital for the last 2 weeks. If there is a real issue with the short period of time, I will consider keeping it on for another month if a host is found and needs some time to setup or what not. Unfortunately, the meter is running for me, so I have to make adjustments quickly where I can. Thank you all for all your efforts over the years. I wish I could have kept the list going strong for many years like Ken and Justin did. Unfortunately that is not the case.
