I remember some confusion I got into when I first started using
Frames in regards to the way Delphi renames those that are created
automatically. For example, if I would create a TFrame named 'MyNewFr1'
with a unit name of 'MyNewFr1u.pas', Delphi would add it to its parent
Form's unit as 'MyNewFr1u1.pas'! I hated that! But now the TFrame is one
of most widely used components. I always create, parent, and free them
manually. I like them especially as a replacement for the pagecontrol.
Instead I use a Tabcontrol and instantiate them as required by the current
tabIndex.
Sorry I can't be more helpful. Perhaps if you posted some code?
