Actually you are right the viruses today are really stupid, poorly written in a 
script language or
even VB. They use in most cases user's stupidity persuade  him to double click 
it and send it to a
friend then to a internal really smart algorithm to propagate.

Maybe it will sound strange to you but I really miss the true viruses from the 
old DOS times.
