Good morning, has anyone experienced this problem (and possibly found a solution): With Vista and its Firewall switched on, I can ping a computer from the command line and get a response, but Indy's ICMP client under Delphi 6 invariably gets a timeout. Also, the other members of the 'areplystatus' aren't filled in. It must be one of the firewall rules, but I haven't found out which one.
The event happens at the right time (a real timeout would take much longer), but still the structure is not filled in. With the firewall switched off, everything works normal.
