I've just tried using the driver : userport. But I'm having problem running on my desktop. I tested this driver on 2 different machine , one on my laptop, the other on PC desktop. Both running the same system : winxp service pack2. The userport is working fine on the laptop (the assembler instruction can access the pararel port without error message), but when trying this on my desktop, everytime I open the port (I pressed start/update/stop in the userport.exe application), it will cause my XP to crash: I got the blue screen then the window is restrarting. Does Anyone know about this issue? How then to fix this?
