Hi folks -- My thanks to each of you for taking the time to respond to my post. It sounds like the general consensus is toward Vista. With that in mind, I've heard about difficulties with installing BDS2006 onto Vista--as well as workarounds (e.g., www.drbob42.com/examines/examin84.htm). Keeping in mind that I don't have Vista now, it *seems* like problems installing BDS could be surmounted simply by turning UAC off before beginning the installation, perhaps turning it on again afterwards? Is that accurate? ... What's the least painful way to do this install?
