Hi I posted this issue a while ago. I have replaced by base TCustomComboBox with PopupBox http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/praxisservice With the standard Delphi VCL combobox, 4 large forms reduced the system and user resource % goes down to ~12% With the PopUpBox as the base the available only drops down to 62%.
